Guest Wishlists
Overview
Section titled “Overview”- Guests can save products before creating an account
- Guest wishlists are saved automatically and restored on return visits
- Auto-merge on login
Settings
Section titled “Settings”Location: Wishlist > Settings > Guest Wishlist

| Merge on login | Enabled | Auto-merge guest wishlist when user logs in |
| Clear after merge | Disabled | Delete guest wishlist after merge |
Merge Behavior
Section titled “Merge Behavior”When a guest logs in, their wishlist items are added to their user account wishlist.
- Duplicate products are skipped
- Different variations are kept as separate items
Example:
- Guest has: T-Shirt (Size: M)
- User has: T-Shirt (Size: L)
- Result: Both variations kept
Limitations
Section titled “Limitations”| Limitation | Impact |
|---|---|
| Browser-specific | Clearing cookies deletes wishlist |
| No cross-device sync | Each browser has separate wishlist |
| Private/incognito mode | New wishlist each session |
When Disabled
Section titled “When Disabled”If guest wishlists are disabled:
- Wishlist buttons hidden for guests
- Guests must log in to use wishlist
